Our Heritage Skills

China's intangible cultural heritage techniques turned 5,000 years of culture into wearable art

  • 『 Mother-of-Pearl Inlay 』

First appeared in the Western Zhou Dynasty, matured during the Tang and Song Dynasties.
It involves cutting, grinding and slicing mother-of-pearl shells to create patterns of figures, flowers and birds, geometric shapes and characters, which are then pasted and inlaid on the surface of objects as required by the design.

  • 『 Filigree Craft 』

An ancient Chinese metalworking technique with a history of over 1,700 years.
Its core lies in drawing gold, silver and other metals into extremely fine wires about 0.2 millimeters in diameter, and then creating intricate designs by hand through techniques such as bending, filling, assembling, soldering, weaving and piling.

  • 『 Lacquer Art 』

Lacquer, also known as Chinese lacquer or simply "big lacquer", is a natural plant-based polymer material obtained from the sap of the Chinese lacquer tree.
It is hailed as the "king of coatings". Ancient people applied lacquer to wooden or ceramic objects to create the earliest lacquerware, which can be traced back to the Neolithic Age about 8,000 years ago.

  • 『 Su Embroidery

Su Embroidery, originating over 2,000 years ago in the Jiangnan region, is hailed as the finest of China’s four great embroidery traditions. Known for its “hair-thin threads and painterly style,” Su Embroidery turns silk into brushstrokes, stitching life into landscapes, flowers, and birds.
We reinterpret this heritage through micro-embroidery on silk, weaving elegance and craftsmanship into wearable art. Each stitch is a tribute to stillness, detail, and the quiet power of Eastern beauty.

  • 『 Cloisonné Enamel 』

Cloisonné Enamel is an imperial craft that flourished during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Thin ribbons of metal are shaped into graceful patterns, filled with vibrant colored glaze, then fired repeatedly at high temperatures.
We inherit this ancient craft with a modern spirit — reviving imperial blue and auspicious motifs, while maintaining the exquisite precision it is known for.

  • 『 Dian Cui - Feather Inlay』

In ancient Chinese courts, Dian Cui was a royal craft that adorned gold jewelry with kingfisher feathers — creating a vivid, flowing blue that was dazzling yet refined, treasured exclusively by the imperial elite for centuries.

To honor this heritage while protecting the natural world, we recreate the brilliance of this eternal Eastern blue using ethically sourced feathers from peacocks, parrots, and geese. Each piece is hand-shaded and layered, preserving the beauty of tradition while upholding modern ethical values.
